Hi, I’m Kasidy! I started Marina Bay Yoga with the dream of helping people discover their own inner peace and develop a yoga practice that they can take with them anywhere they go. We meet in homes, parks, offices, schools, churches, virtually, anywhere you can dream of, making yoga accessible to all.
I started practicing yoga while living in Malaysia, frustrated with chronic stomach pain. I stumbled upon a yoga video and within a matter of weeks, my stomach pain subsided and I was gaining greater mental clarity. I was finally making time in my adult life to care for my own needs and it changed my relationship with myself and others. It was truly the start of coming home to myself, letting go of the rat race of life. Anxiously people pleasing, working around the clock, sleepless nights, and dreary days started to become a thing of the past.
Yoga continues to be my grounding force. Reconnecting mind, body, and soul through breath. Through this present moment awareness. And I have seen yoga transform countless lives as individuals allow themselves a few moments a day to practice movement and mindfulness. Coming home to themselves and finding deep inner peace. Watching it spill off the mat into their daily lives. I love yoga. I love that it’s for all!
