How do you build self trust?
You have to stop looking at it as “can I trust myself?”
And decide that you are the best possible leader of your life. You got yourself here and you are the only one who can make the daily choices to get you to where you want to go.
Self doubt sneaks in a few different ways and it looks like…
a lack of boundaries at work and with loved ones
communicating needs and then taking it back
difficulty making decisions
procrastination
When you know you can trust YOU, these symptoms disappear.
Start building trust with yourself today, write down 10 things you have done well over the past year. This can be anything from work to relationships to hobbies and everywhere in between. Get specific.
And then write down why and how you did them well. Keep is short and simple.
This is going to give your brain evidence that YOU are in fact worthy of being trusted by YOU (and others!)
Continue this practice daily until it’s no longer a question in your mind.
