Stitch it up.
A long time ago, I started stitching things up instead of throwing them away.
The worn out jeans could become shorts, the broken coffee mug could become a piece of art..
It was turning old things into new things that lit up my soul.
My craft closet was a masterpiece.
I have owned more scissors in my lifetime than most people do shoes.
When I bring back souvenirs, it’s usually fabric to make into something else.
Some would say to just buy the magnet, just get new shorts, why do you need so many scissors??!!
Because it brings me joy.
We so often feel the need to justify our why, as if it has to be another reason..
Yes, I do care deeply about our planet AND… I just like doing it.
I just like make old things new.
Permission to not need a why for everything in your life “bigger” than “because I like it.”
That’s all,
I love you.
